Roussillon, Rustrel and the plateaux around Apt. Ochre paths can be sandy with limited shade. Check site opening times, booking requirements and parking on the source page before travelling.

Petit Luberon

Bonnieux, Oppède, Robion and Mérindol. Cedar forest paths and long ridge walks have very different demands. Check ascent, rocky sections and access before choosing a route.

Gordes, Murs, Joucas and Lagnes. Allow time for parking and check technical passages in the Véroncle gorges. Heritage walks near the villages offer other options.

Auribeau, Sivergues and Cabrières-d’Aigues. Mourre Nègre reaches 1,125 m. Plan for ascent, wind on the ridges and no reliable water refill; shorter loops avoid the summit.
