Prepare a walk in the Luberon
Read the whole route description, check access and weather, and choose a walk that leaves a margin for the least experienced person.

The essential point
- Check distance, ascent, rocky passages, parking and the return to the start. Download the map and track for offline use before leaving.
- Carry enough water for the route and conditions, food, sun protection and clothing for changes in weather. Do not assume a spring will be flowing.
- Tell someone your route and expected return. Keep battery power in reserve and turn back if progress or conditions no longer match the plan.
